      • Job Summary

      We are searching for an experienced Mobile Pet Groomer to join the team at our successful grooming business. As a Pet Groomer, you will drive to homes of our clients to bathe and clip dogs according to breed-specific standards and owner preferences. You will also trim nails, clean ears, detangle hair and generally ensure that pets look and feel their best. If you are reliable, compassionate, and have a love for pets, we want to hear from you!  We offer great compensation and have over-time available.

      Responsibilities

    • Drive to appointments
    • Brush and detangle or remove matted fur
    • Bathe dogs and dry coat
    • Execute a variety of clipping techniques and style requests
    • Examine for parasites or other skin conditions
    • Trim / Grind nails
    • Ensure the safety of dogs at all times
    • Adhere to strict sanitary and cleaning procedures
    • Communicate effectively and compassionately with pet owners
    • Clean area / van
    • Fill up van with gas
    • Collect payment after service

      • Qualifications

    • Previous experience as a dog grooming (min. 2 years)
    • Good driving record
    • Comfortable working with anxious animals
    • Ability to stand for long periods and lift large dogs over 60 pounds
    • Willingness to learn new techniques and participate in continuing education
    • Able to communicate effectively with coworkers and dog owners
    • Strong attention to detail

      • Preferred qualification : Bi-lingual candidates
