JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and enhance enterprise-grade software applications that support data integration, visualization, and decision-making within a secure, cloud-hosted environment. This role is a hands-on technical position contributing to Agile development teams delivering scalable solutions that integrate government, commercial, and custom-built components.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Contribute to Agile software development efforts for a suite of integrated applications in a Microsoft Azure cloud environment.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure web applications using C#, .NET, SQL, JavaScript, and Azure PaaS services.
• Implement and support integration of GOTS, COTS, and custom-built modules, ensuring interoperability and compliance with data standards.
• Participate in sprint planning, technical design discussions, and code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability.
• Collaborate with data stewards, analysts, and stakeholders to support data governance, federation, and visualization capabilities.
• Assist in developing embedded training features and end-user documentation to support system adoption and usability.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• 5+ years of full-stack software development experience, including leading enterprise-level projects.
• Strong experience with C#, ASP/.NET, SQL, JavaScript, Azure PaaS, Dynamics 365.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• CompTIA Security+ required.
• Secret clearance required.
• Hands-on experience working in Agile development environments and applying DevSecOps best practices.
• Familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI) tools and integrating structured/unstructured data.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Experience in DoD or secure government IT environments.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and cloud security best practices.
• Exposure to architecture frameworks, metadata management, or enterprise integration patterns.
