Security Officer - Unarmed Bike Patrol

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Bike Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic commercial real estate location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will interact with visitors and tenants, deliver exceptional customer service, and respond promptly to situations as they arise. This role offers the opportunity to be active throughout your shift, contribute to a caring and reliable team, and play a key part in fostering a welcoming environment. Pay Rate : $24.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

  • Wed 10 : 00 AM - 07 : 00 PM
  • Thur 10 : 00 AM - 07 : 00 PM
  • Fri 10 : 00 AM - 07 : 00 PM
  • Sat 10 : 00 AM - 07 : 00 PM
  • Sun 10 : 00 AM - 07 : 00 PM

    • What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related concerns within the commercial real estate location.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
  • Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and / or local authorities as needed based on site protocols.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized individuals and / or activities.
  • Complete daily activity reports and incident reports as required by site protocols.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Ability to ride a bike is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
