Security Officer - Unarmed Bike Patrol

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Bike Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic commercial real estate location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will interact with visitors and tenants, deliver exceptional customer service, and respond promptly to situations as they arise. Pay Rate : $24.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

  • Wed 10 : 00 AM - 07 : 00 PM
  • Thur 10 : 00 AM - 07 : 00 PM
  • Fri 10 : 00 AM - 07 : 00 PM
  • Sat 10 : 00 AM - 07 : 00 PM
  • Sun 10 : 00 AM - 07 : 00 PM

    • What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related concerns within the commercial real estate location.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
  • Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and / or local authorities as needed based on site protocols.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized individuals and / or activities.
  • Complete daily activity reports and incident reports as required by site protocols.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Ability to ride a bike is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
