PICC RN - Vascular Access Nurse Consultant

VIC the PICC ("VTP") is a specialized healthcare provider focused on vascular access consulting services to acute care hospitals, skilled nursing facilities and home healthcare. We provide vascular access device insertion services, post access support services including declotting, line removal, port access and venous access troubleshooting. Job Description

As a Vascular Access Nurse Consultant, you will work collaboratively with our customer's clinical team to resolve venous access issues to facilitate the treatment objectives of the treating physician. You may work inside or outside the hospital setting depending on each individual referral, providing you with a unique career opportunity to observe different treatment protocols and patient challenges. We offer a $10,000 bonus for PICC RNs who commit long-term

As a VTP Vascular Access Nurse Consultant you will :

• Place PICCs, midlines and peripheral IVs with ultrasound and use ECG confirmation.
• Assist with management of PICCs and Vascular Access devices.
• Provide a wide range of vascular access support services including but not limited to port access, removal of lines, declotting, etc.
• Educate facility nursing staff regarding PICCs, midlines and many other CVAD's

Scheduling

In this role, Consultants visit patients in different customer facilities and therefore must be willing to travel to customer facilities and able to fulfill scheduling requirements as indicated based on business needs. Full-time scheduling requirements include four days per week, including weekends, and participation in the holiday rotation.

Part-time (Per Diem) scheduling requirements include a minimum of 4 scheduled shifts per month, including weekends, and participation in the holiday rotation.
