Salary : $75k - $90k

MAC Products, one of the premier mass transit and utilities manufacturers in the North Jersey area, is looking for a proactive Quality Engineer to join our team. You will be a key player in maintaining and improving the high standards of our manufacturing processes.

We need a self-motivated, hands-on professional unafraid to tackle problems and solve challenges.

Responsibilities

Lead root cause analysis and implement practical corrective and preventive actions.

Monitor and improve critical manufacturing processes, including brazing and welding.

Conduct internal audits and lead process improvement projects.

Provide technical support & training to QC inspectors and collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams.

Collect and analyze quality data to drive proactive improvements.

Some travel to customer or supplier sites may be required.

Qualifications & Skills

Required :

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical discipline.

3-5 years of experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment.

Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 : 2015.

Proven ability to perform dimensional inspections and mechanical testing of parts.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred :

Ability to interpret electrical wiring diagrams or schematics.

Familiarity with welding, brazing, or automation in manufacturing.

Knowledge of statistical principles and statistical process control (SPC).

The role is onsite Monday - Friday at our facility in Kearny, NJ, so candidates must be local / commutable.
