A Pediatrics Physician provides specialized medical care to infants and children, including attending high-risk deliveries and developing comprehensive care plans. The role requires expertise in neonatal procedures and patient management in the nursery setting, ensuring the health and stability of vulnerable patients. The physician must be board certified, possess an active medical license, and have extensive experience in pediatrics.

Coverage Needed

  • September 2, 2024 - Ongoing

Schedule

  • hour shifts per month
  • 8a-5p inhouse, 5p - call from home

    • Clinical Details

  • Will attend high risk deliveries and develop plan of care for each infant
  • Level 1 / 2 Nursery
  • Peds consults to ER requests

    • Requirements

  • Board Certified in Pediatrics
  • Active SC License and CSR
  • 5 years experience
  • Comfortable with patients 32 weeks and resuscitation, CPAP, peripheral IVs, ART sticks, managing ventilators, administering pulmonary surfactant, umbilical lines, catheters, and other sick baby related procedures
  • Circumcision is a must, will provide training if needed.
