Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct both routine and advanced laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-in accordance with established protocols.
• Evaluate results for precision, address discrepancies, and perform routine maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments.
• Assist in specimen collection and the preparation of samples for testing when necessary.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, provide training for incoming staff or students, and uphold strict quality assurance standards in the lab.
• Ensure a clean and secure workplace while complying with regulatory guidelines and accreditation requirements.

Education

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health field, in addition to ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• Achieve ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within the first year of employment.
• Maintain certification through continuous professional development throughout your tenure.
