Responsibilities :
- Works on engagements to include financial statement audits reviews compilations agreed-upon procedures and other process as assigned by audit supervisors / managers
- Performs detailed audit procedures on financial statement account balances and prepares effective and clear work papers
- Develops an understanding of the accounting and auditing principles relevant to individual client engagements
- Participates in engagement planning process
- Anticipates problem areas of engagement and questions that will arise
- Assists with complicated segments of audit and accounting engagements
- Proficient in preparing financial statements using the firms software programs
- Communicates to supervisor all important developments on engagement and analyzes problems and recommends solution
- Maintains general knowledge of economic and political trends of possible tax or other legislation that could affect business client
