Qualifications:

• Must have experience as a Food Service Director in long term care
• Must have long term care experience
• Proven Leadership & Management Skills
• Must have excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Must be a self-starter and energetic

Responsibilities:

• Directs the purchasing, receiving, storing and preparing of food and related products
• Creating the menu, developing recipes, and overseeing kitchen staff, operations, inventory, DOH regulations compliance and orders
• Responsible for training, planning, assigning, and directing work, evaluating performance, rewarding, and disciplining associates
• Properly opens the Food Service on shift assigned
• Schedules department working hours, personnel, and work assignments to maintain quality service
• Interviews, hires, and trains associates and maintains excellent relationships with clients
• Develops, manages, and maintains food service policies and procedures
