ABOUT THE ROLE :

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for the overall nursing care / service and management of all personnel on his / her shift, including the accurate and timely administration of medications, treatments, documentation, and emergency calls, as indicated. Our RNs work 12-hour shifts caring for our residents at our skilled nursing center.

YOU ARE EXCITED ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY BECAUSE YOU WILL…

• Supervise direct care of residents and nursing personnel on his / her shift.
• Administer direct care as necessary.
• Give and receive shift reports.
• Round twice a shift to ensure proper care is rendered in a safe and clean environment.
• Keep physicians and families aware of changes in residents’ conditions.
• Assist in developing comprehensive care plans.
• Maintain the self-respect, personal dignity, and physical safety of each resident.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all care rendered.
• Respond to the resident emergency call system.
• Interface with other disciplines to ensure continuity of care and services.
• Accompany physicians when making rounds.
• Encourage restorative care to obtain maximum resident independence.
