Software Engineering Lead - Java and Python

Salary : $118,504 - 201,457 per year

Requirements :

• Bachelors Degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field with at least 6 years of relevant experience or equivalent
• Capability to Obtain and Maintain a Secret Security Clearance
• Proven experience in leading Software Engineering teams
• Strong proficiency in C / C++
• Familiarity with real-time embedded programming (preferred)
• Experience managing cost and scheduling of software projects (preferred)
• Background in Agile Development (preferred)
• Experience in designing and / or implementing software algorithms (preferred)
• Knowledge of software engineering processes, methodologies, and tools (preferred)
• Experience with software testing, validation, and verification activities (preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to inspire and guide technical teams (preferred)

Responsibilities :

Lead the execution of complex software architecture and designs for various projects

Implement established management systems and provide leadership to ensure effective work performance, closely monitor costs and schedules, and take timely corrective actions

Maintain open communication channels to keep management updated on function progress and outcomes

Evolve existing processes and incorporate new techniques to assure optimal design and product costs

Provide high-level technical leadership for assigned design disciplines, selecting and exploiting promising new technologies and establishing long-term goals

Ensure effective collaboration between assigned engineers and other participants in the design process

Engage in a hybrid work format, balancing between onsite and remote work
