Temple's Pre-Admissions Testing department is searching for an Advance Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join the team!

Setting : Outpatient

Hours : Fulltime : M-F, 8am - 430pm | No On Call or Weekends

Location : Jeanes Campus 7600 Central Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19111

Job Summary

The Pre-Admissions Testing Advanced Practice Provider (APP), either a Nurse Practitioners (NPs) or Physician Assistants (PAs), plays a key role in ensuring patients are medically optimized and safely prepared for surgical and procedural interventions. The APP conducts comprehensive pre-operative evaluations, coordinates necessary testing, and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to identify and mitigate risks prior to surgery. This role emphasizes patient education, evidence-based decision making, and seamless care transitions to improve perioperative outcomes and enhance patient experience

Education

Nurse Practitioner

• Bachelors Degree : in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing . (Required)
• Masters Degree : in Nursing from an accredited Nursing program. (Required)
