Our client, a leading player in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a QA Inspector to join their team. As a QA Inspector, you will be part of the Quality department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: QA Inspector

Location: Santa Ana, CA

Pay Range: $23.00 - $26.00 / hour, depending on experience

Shift: 6:30am - 3:00pm, Monday to Friday

What's the Job?

• Inspect incoming materials for conformance to specifications and initiate non-conformance reports (NCRs) as needed.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections on components and assemblies.
• Verify that parts and products meet dimensional, visual, and functional requirements.
• Document inspection results clearly and accurately, using appropriate forms and ERP systems.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues.

What's Needed?

• Experience with mechanical or visual inspection in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and optical comparators.
• Proficiency in using ERP and quality management systems (QMS).
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 or AS9100 standards preferred.
