Job Description

The Senior Tax Accountant is responsible for preparing and reconciling sales and use tax schedules as well as filing monthly, quarterly, and annual sales tax returns.

Responsibilities :

• Prepare and reconcile all indirect tax schedules, including but not limited to sales and use tax schedules, personal property tax, and commercial rent tax.
• File various indirect tax returns on monthly, quarterly and annual basis both manually and via return preparation software.
• Assist with software implementations.
• Able to use various research tools to research current tax law changes with respect to sales and use tax, corporate and franchise taxes, personal property tax, and commercial rent tax.
• Aid in maintaining all current business licenses and apply for new state and local licenses for new businesses or stores.
• Assist the Tax Manager with various state audits and various DY finance initiatives.
• Address and investigate tax notices from various jurisdictions.

Qualifications :

Working mode : Hybrid (minimum 3 days / week in office) NYC; No travel expected.

Estimated salary range : $90,000-$110,000.

Base pay is one component of David Yurman's total compensation package, which may also include the following for eligible employees : access to healthcare benefits, 401(k) plan, bonus, employee discounts, Summer Fridays (corporate roles), generous paid time off, sick time, and more.
