Part-Time Automotive Technician

Job Summary : The Automotive Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles in accordance with industry, manufacturer, and repair shop standards. This position requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to delivering top-quality service to ensure customer safety and satisfaction.Key Responsibilities : Perform inspections, routine maintenance, and repairs on various vehicle systems, including engines, brakes, transmissions, electrical, HVAC, and suspension.Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using appropriate tools and equipment.Follow repair procedures as outlined in technical manuals and service bulletins.Complete work orders and maintain accurate documentation of all services performed.Conduct test drives to verify that repairs have resolved vehicle concerns.Communicate clearly with the owner / manager regarding vehicle conditions, recommended repairs, and expected timelines.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Stay current with evolving automotive technology through ongoing training.Comply with all company procedures, safety, and environmental guidelines.Qualifications : High school diploma or equivalent; technical / vocational automotive training preferred.Willingness to learn, follow procedures, and uphold our standards.Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.Preferably 1+ year of experience as an automotive technician or similar role (
