Principal DevOps Engineer Location : Remote (slight preference for EST) Employees :

Act as a hands-on leader to build, mentor, and scale a high-performing DevOps team.
Architect standardized, reusable CI / CD pipeline frameworks with integrated quality gates, security checks, and advanced automation.
Automate, build, and deploy workflows, eliminating manual steps and embedding compliance controls.
Facilitate technical discussions, set operational standards, and promote best practices in DevOps.
Support and manage large-scale production deployments across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

What you can bring to the table to impact this role, team, and organization :

8+ years of experience designing and implementing CI / CD solutions and DevOps practices.

8+ years working on public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Proficiency with version control (GitHub, GitLab).

Deep experience in build orchestration and release tools (Jenkins, CircleCI, TeamCity, Azure DevOps, Artifactory, SonarQube, Coverity)

Strong skills Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CDK, Bicep, Packer, Scalr).

Configuration management expertise (ansible, chef, puppet).

Scripting ability in Python, Ruby, or comparable language.

Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Nomad, Swarm, Packer).

Understanding of cloud services and architectures (EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, RDS, ELB, etc.).

Ability to implement DevOps best practices and define operational processes.

Bonus Experience / Skills :

Familiarity with orchestration / automation platforms (Rundeck)

Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools (Elastic, Splunk).

Cross-platform experience (Linux and Windows).

Compensation : $160 - $170K + 7% bonus
