Description :

Unit Information : Med Surg + Neuro / Stroke

MUST BE FLEXIBLE WITH WEEKEND REQUIREMENTS, WEEKEND REQUIREMENT WILL BE BASED ON UNIT NEEDS. TRAVELERS MUST BE ABLE TO WORK 50% OF THE WEEKENDS IN THEIR CONTRACT.

REFUSAL TO FLOAT MAY END IN TERMINATION OF CONTRACT

IU Health University and Methodist are teaching facilities and require all travel nurses to agree to the possibility of precepting and / or being assigned students to shadow them while on assignment. Please only submit candidates that are okay with these requirements.

Traveler must have IN / Compact license in hand.

MUST BE WILLING TO TAKE CHARGE OR OPEN TO TRAINING FOR CHARGE

First Time Travelers Accepted

Certification Requirements : BCLS

Skillset Requirements : Med / Surg, MS / Tele, and IV Start

Skillset Preferences : Interpretation of dysrhythmias and Management of dysrhythmias, 2 years of nursing experience required

Floating Requirements : Unit travelers may be expected to float to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) with resources provided if needed at both University and Methodist Hospitals

Staffing Ratios : 1 : 5-6
