A dedicated agency in Sacramento is seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Claims Examiner to collaborate with the team! In this role, you will investigate and evaluate claims, process payments, maintain documentation, etc.

$35.00 - $53.00/hour depending on experience

Weekly pay Monday-Friday

What we need from you:

• Experience - You have at least 5+ years of Workers' Compensation experience
• Mathematical and Analytical - Ability to review data and make actionable recommendations based on the information.
• Comprehensive Knowledge - Understanding of Worker's Compensation guidelines, Medicare coding, and compliance obligations.
• Software - You are proficient with Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other database management systems

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with new claims from opening until satisfactory completion, evidence, and fact-gathering surrounding claims
• Assuring all claims have a workable plan of action
• Reviewing billing summaries
• Identifying any signs of fraud and making proper referrals for further investigation
• Pursue subrogation when necessary, and offer superior customer service to all parties involved
