Facilities Manager

What this job involves:

At JLL, we are seeking a skilled Facilities Manager to serve as the primary point of contact responsible for comprehensive facilities management at our client site. In this role, you will support the Sr. Facilities Manager and/or Account Leader in delivering exceptional facility management services while coordinating and managing tenant requirements to ensure complete client satisfaction. What your day-to-day will look like:

• Support the Sr. Facilities Manager and/or Account Lead in implementing short and long-term goals and projects for the client
• Develop innovative programs, processes, and procedures that reduce operating costs and increase productivity
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements based on client needs and ensure accurate, timely completion
• Manage work assignments for building technicians, vendors, and contractors
• Lead facilities staff to deliver expected service levels within prescribed budgets
• Assist with developing and implementing annual management plans for buildings within your area
• Oversee the development and management of capital and expense budgets while interfacing closely with client representatives
• Maintain strong client satisfaction by providing responsive leadership that develops and maintains positive relationships
• Recommend capital improvements, prepare operating budget reports, and complete monthly variance analyses
• Share innovations and best practices across the JLL Facilities Management network
• Oversee service delivery of contracted services and ensure compliance with all client and JLL policies

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Facilities Management with management/technical emphasis
• 6+ years of industry experience in corporate environments, third-party service providers, or as a consultant
• Strong leadership, management, and interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• Experience managing both technical and administrative staff
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Experience with CMMS systems and facility management technologies
• Commitment to client service excellence and innovative problem-solving

Preferred Qualifications:

• MBA or advanced degree in related field
• Experience with budget management and financial reporting
• Knowledge of sustainable facility management practices
• Experience developing and implementing process improvements
• Background in multiple facility types or portfolio management
• Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements in facility operations
• Demonstrated success in vendor/contractor management
