[job_card.job_description]Self-scheduled shifts on a 3rd shift (7 PM - 7 : 30 AM) cycle. FTE : 0.9 (12-hour shifts). Please note : a minimum of 2 Mondays and 2 Fridays, 1 weekend, and 2 holidays are required every 6 weeks. Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Adapt quickly to different workflows while maintaining excellence in clinical practice. Utilize the nursing process to assess patient needs, implement individualized care plans, and evaluate outcomes. Coordinate patient discharge plans with an interdisciplinary team approach. Champion patient safety and proactively identify risks to improve the care environment. Receive specialized training in ACLS, NIHSS, IV Ultrasound, and have opportunities for Charge Nurse cross-training. Participate in professional development and quality improvement initiatives. Minimum of 18 months of Med / Surg or Telemetry RN experience (2 years preferred). A flexible schedule to meet the outlined frequency of shifts.
Position Overview : As a Registered Nurse in our Internal Float Pool, you will embrace a dynamic role that involves rotating through various units, including ED Boarding, Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) support, all within a single hospital environment. This position is ideal for those seeking a challenging night shift opportunity that offers diverse experiences and growth.
