Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable, friendly, and safety-focused Van Driver to join our team. This full-time role includes morning and afternoon van runs. During non-driving hours, the driver will assist with teacher lunch breaks, bathroom breaks, classroom support, and may occasionally substitute in a classroom if needed.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and wants consistent daytime hours.

Schedule :

MondayFriday, 8 : 00 AM4 : 00 PM

Full-time, year-round position.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the daycare van on assigned routes.
• Pick up and drop off children according to the daily schedule.
• Maintain a calm, positive, and friendly atmosphere during transport.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle safety inspections.
• Follow all traffic laws, DOT requirements, and center safety policies.
• Communicate professionally with parents, children, and staff.
• Assist in classrooms between van runs (break coverage, support, or subbing as needed).

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Must hold a valid CDL or V endorsement with a clean driving record.
• Experience driving larger passenger vans is preferred.
• Must pass all background checks, fingerprinting, and required health clearances.
• Friendly, patient, dependable, and committed to child safety.
• Comfortable working with children of various ages (infantschool age).

Compensation

• Competitive hourly rate , based on experience and licensing.
