Position Overview:
Functions as a senior-level compensation professional, providing compensation support including innovative compensation design, ability to influence and build consensus with key stakeholders, strategic program development and implementation in close partnership with Human Resources (HR) Business Partners and those responsible for the delivery model (i.e., Sutter Shared Services Compensation). Responsibilities also include research and analysis of cost-effective and legally compliant base and variable pay programs. Works with system, operating unit and affiliate HR leadership by reviewing policies and procedures, collecting, analyzing and interpreting data and statistics in the development, planning and execution of compensation strategies and guiding principles. Completes complex analyses to support union contract negotiations and effective compensation programs. Researches new laws and regulations to determine the impact on compensation programs, reporting requirements, and communication implications.Job Description :

EDUCATION:
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
Bachelor's: Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
5 years recent relevant experience.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge of Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and California State and Federal wage and hour laws, and their application, and ability to execute to an implementation plan.
In depth knowledge of compensation, recognition and incentive plans and components that drive business success.
Analytical and mathematical skills, the ability to perform research, manipulate large amounts of data and draw valid conclusions, formulate sound recommendations and prepare effective written reports.
Effective written and verbal communication skills including the ability to present information in a clear and concise manner to management, and employees at all levels.
Organizational abilities, the ability to work independently, maintain a balance of work priorities and complete assignments within established timeframes.
Timeliness, attention to detail and accuracy.
Experienced user of a personal computer with word processing, spreadsheet, presentation software, and Microsoft Office.
Advanced skills with spreadsheet development and manipulation.

Pay Range is $52.01 to $78.03 / hour. New Jersey Pay Range is $52.01 to $78.03 / hour.
