A company is looking for a Design Engineer I to contribute to the design and documentation of renewable energy systems.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare engineering design drawings, details, and calculations for renewable energy and substation projects

Develop and revise CAD drawings and design documents for solar and BESS systems

Participate in internal design reviews and maintain organized project files

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical, civil, structural, architectural, or related engineering discipline or relevant associate's degree plus 4+ years of applicable experience

Some experience designing and drafting with AutoCAD or similar tools

Foundational understanding of renewable energy system components and design fundamentals

Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is preferred

Experience with PV or BESS design projects is a plus
