Role Summary : The RDC Operations Lead will be responsible for the shipping and receiving functions within the Regional Distribution Center (RDC) with a focus on safety and customer service. The RDC Operations Lead will lead and influence the day-to-day warehouse operations, display a proven ability to develop and maintain an environment of trust, diversity, and inclusion within the RDC team, including Hubbers, contractors and 3PL operators. Role Specifics :

  • Serve as the primary point of contact at the RDC for all operational inquiries, issues, and concerns
  • Oversees and coordinates the day-to-day operations of the RDC including : scheduling and assigning work to Hubbers, contractors and / or 3PL operators, monitoring progress of daily workload, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and effectively.
  • Refines existing processes and procedures to increase their effectiveness and efficiency while enhancing the RDCs' internal capacity.
  • Ensures that operational activities remain on-time and within budget.
  • Monitors KPIs and performance metrics to identify areas of improvement.
  • Collaborates with Ops teams, other RDC's, contractors, and 3PL operators to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Addresses customer complaints to resolution or escalates (TLC's and Customers) to the appropriate level in a professional and timely manner.
  • Identifies and resolves any operational bottlenecks.
  • Stays up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.

    • Experience :

  • 5+ years of applicable work experiences with a heavy focus on operations and warehouse management.
  • Supervisor or management experience required.
  • Experience with KPI management.
  • BS / BA in Logistics, Business administration or related field preferred.

    • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

  • Demonstrated people skills including influencing skills, listening and the ability to communicate effectively to diverse groups.
  • Process improvement experience.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, including the ability to coordinate a variety of different projects and individuals and to adapt to unforeseen and unexpected requests or changes in priorities required.
  • Ability to collaborate with business leaders and peers across the organization to anticipate, identify, recommend, and implement creative operational and customer service solutions.
  • Proven track record of process improvement and operational excellence.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Highly analytical with a keen eye for detail.

    • This role is based out of TireHub's location in Fort Worth, Texas.
