The primary purpose of this position is: to accomplish the operation, overhaul, and maintenance of the Wastewater Treatment Facility and all equipment used in conjunction with the Wastewater Treatment operation.

Requirements:

U.S. Citizenship

Obtain & maintain a Security clearance

Recruitment Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

Knowledge of wide range of principles, processes, and techniques of wastewater treatment.

Knowledge of safety and security regulations, practices, and procedures

Knowledge of the use and maintenance of hand and power tools, equipment, and precision measuring and/or test equipment common to the trade.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints diagrams, sketches, and technical specifications.

Ability to plan and organize work assigned to include determining resources required to accomplish mission.

Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Other significant facts pertaining to the position:

The incumbent is required to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance. A valid state driver's license is required.

Must have current State of Georgia Certificate for wastewater treatment (at least Class III)
