Position Summary
This position oversees the development, implementation, and adherence to the academic and research compliance program for the College of Medicine. It increases awareness of regulatory policies and coordinates programs to promote compliance with university guidelines focused on sponsored research, laboratory safety standards, and outside activity disclosures.
Duties & Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree in business, legal, or public health required. Institutional Review Board Professional Certification (CIP) preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of higher‑education experience, including 2 years in an academic medical‑center environment working with physicians and 2 years in regulatory compliance.
Knowledge of state and federal regulatory compliance standards required; computer literacy required.
Strong management, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
