Key Responsibilities
Manage copy editing and headline writing for accuracy and style
Promote visual storytelling through layout design using photographs, graphics, and typography
Collaborate with editors on story presentation and communicate with production departments regarding quality control
Required Qualifications
Proficiency in G Suite, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite
College degree from an accredited four-year college or equivalent experience
Previous newspaper design experience is preferred
Proven skills in news judgment, typography, and page design
Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment
