About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified CVICU RN in Baltimore, Maryland, 21218!

• Provide specialized care for post-cardiac surgery patients, including POD 1 hearts and fresh admissions.
• Monitor and manage dysrhythmias, ventilators, chest tubes, and pacing devices.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to ensure safe, evidence-based care.
• Float to assigned units of equal or lower acuity while maintaining high standards of patient care.

Requirements

Certifications Required : ACLS, BLS

Skills Required : Dysrhythmia interpretation / management, post-cardiac surgery care, ventilator management, chest tube assist / removal, pacing devices (pacer / temp / transvenous), IV insulin protocols

Skills Preferred : Lumbar drain management

Weekend Requirement : Every 3rd weekend

Charting : Cerner / Med Connect | Medication System : Pyxis
