Keeper Security is hiring an experienced and highly motivated Senior Director of Technical Operations to lead our Security Operations Center (SOC) and Network Operations Center (NOC). This is a 100% remote position, with the opportunity to work a hybrid schedule for candidates based in the El Dorado Hills, CA or Chicago, IL metro area.

As the Senior Director of Technical Operations, you will develop and execute a unified vision that integrates infrastructure reliability, network operations, and security response. You will lead high-performing SOC and NOC teams, ensuring 24 / 7 coverage, operational readiness, and rapid, coordinated incident response. This role requires a proven leader with deep technical expertise, the ability to build cross-functional collaboration, and a relentless focus on operational excellence, security posture, and business continuity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a unified strategy that integrates infrastructure reliability, network operations, and security response
• Foster strong cross-functional collaboration with Security, Engineering, IT, and Compliance teams
• Establish and maintain a culture of proactive operations, continuous improvement, and operational readiness
• Lead the SOC to ensure 24 / 7 detection, triage, and rapid response to security threats
• Oversee the NOC to maintain constant visibility into infrastructure health, network availability, and performance metrics
• Implement unified incident response protocols and integrated playbooks for SOC and NOC operations
• Drive capacity planning, performance optimization, and automation strategies across infrastructure and security operations
• Oversee vulnerability management and patch remediation from detection through resolution
• Manage technical aspects of audits, penetration testing, and business continuity planning
• Define and monitor KPIs for reliability, security, cost efficiency, and incident resolution
• Lead root cause analysis and post-incident reviews to ensure accountability and continuous learning
