Key Responsibilities

Provide crisis-counseling services via phone, aiming to answer 95% of calls within 20 seconds

Conduct safety assessments and develop safety plans while maintaining accurate documentation in real time

Mentor volunteers and fulfill continuing education requirements as necessary

Required Qualifications

Minimum of six months of relevant behavioral health experience; one year in crisis intervention or suicide prevention preferred

High school diploma or equivalent

Must be 18 years of age or older

Ability to effectively use web-based platforms and electronic documentation systems

Open availability and flexibility to work within the program's operating hours, including weekends and holidays
