Clark Nexsen, A JMT Company has a current opening for an Engineering Technician I. The Engineering Technician I will be responsible for assisting in the production of construction drawings. Typical responsibilities include drafting and three-dimensional modeling of marked-up plans, sections, details, and notes produced by the senior project staff.

Immigration sponsorship or support ( H1B, F-1 CPT / OPT / STEM OPT) is not available for this position, except for qualified candidates eligible for the TN visa classification.

Required Skills

Required Experience

Have earned a high school diploma, or equivalent, and completed coursework in AutoCAD, REVIT, and / or BIM software packages (Navisworks) from a technical or vocational school; or An Associate’s Degree in a field of study related to drafting and design; or

A certificate in a field of study related to building drafting and design; or

Certificate of Management for Building Information Modeling (CM-BIM)

Applicable Autodesk certifications

1-4 years of experience with the following software : AutoCAD

Autodesk Revit

The selected candidate is expected to work in a JMT office location at least three days per week or as needed to perform assigned duties. While most of our work is desk-based, there may be times when standing, walking, bending and lifting of minimal weight are required.
