About The Position

We are seeking a Radiation Oncologist for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Iowa, starting on Sep 1, 2025. This full-time role involves shifts from 8 AM to 4 : 30 PM, Monday through Friday, focusing on advanced radiotherapy procedures. Immediate start available post-credentialing with potential for temporary privileges.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform conventional and 3D radiotherapy.
  • Administer external beam radiation including IMRT, IGRT, and 3D-CRT.
  • Conduct Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT) and Stereotactic Radiosurgery.
  • Provide Photon Beam Radiation Therapy and Fractionated Stereotactic Radiotherapy.
  • Utilize Aria EMR system for documentation and management of patient records.

  • Board certification in Radiation Oncology required.
  • Must hold an active Iowa medical license or be actively licensed by the IMLC.
  • COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory.
  • Candidates should be local or within driving distance.
