Experience : Minimum of 2 years’ clinical experience, plus 2 years of managerial experience in Risk, both in an acute care hospital setting. Licensure : Current RN license in CA required Certifications : Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) or Certified Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) preferred.
Job Description
HCT seeks an experienced nursing professional to serve as the Interim Risk Manager for a 250+ bed hospital in California. The Risk Manager plays an important role in developing and implementing Risk Management policies and procedures for the Health System. Responsibilities include :
- Coordinating communications between patients, family members, medical / administrative staff, and regulatory agencies, including grievances and dispute resolutions.
- Facilitating investigations surrounding risk events, coordinating improvement opportunities, working collaboratively with other leaders, staff, physicians, the Quality Department, and Patient Safety Officer.
Requirements :
