Job Description

Job Description : \n

  • The LC Naval Architect (Weights / Stability)will help provide engineering technical and management support in studying, analyzing, and evaluating engineering problems, and developing solutions.

\n

  • Support will include assisting in the development of contract documentation and the development of technical plans, specifications, cost estimates relating to the various categories of engineering support services, studies provided, and associated reports.

    • \n

  • This position will be part of a contract team to assist in the preparation of a wide range of engineering and feasibility studies, providing engineering and technical support for design review, performance feasibility studies, and designs of ships, boat, and shipboard systems in support of existing and future vessel acquisition programs.

    • \n \n

    Required Skills and Experiences :

  • Minimum of 6 years of documented experience with conducting stability studies, inclining experiments, reporting damage control data, and conducting stability calculations and studies for launching, dry-docking, mooring, or towing situations.

    • \n

    Degree Requirements :

    \n

  • Must be a U.S. citizen

    • \n

  • A secret security clearance

    • \n \n
