We are seeking an experienced Project Manager II – Sustainability to support the Los Angeles Community College District’s bond-funded capital construction and modernization program. This role manages sustainability-focused planning, design, construction, and closeout activities for multiple campus projects.
- Salary Range : $160K / Year-$175K / Year - Dependent on Candidate's Qualifications
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage sustainability-focused capital construction projects in alignment with District goals and program policiesPlan, organize, direct, and report on multiple concurrent construction projectsReview and develop project contract documentsExecute the program’s Quality Management System and ensure complianceIdentify project risks and implement mitigation strategiesMaintain accurate and timely project documentation and reportingManage 5–10 projects simultaneously , each ranging from $1M–$30M in valueMonitor schedules, budgets, cost control, staffing, and contract requirementsConduct site reviews to assess team performance and adherence to regulationsSupport dispute resolution and recommend corrective actionsLead outreach efforts and communicate project updates to stakeholdersSuccessfully close out projects in accordance with DSA and District protocolsQualifications
Required :
5+ years of managing multiple construction projects (capital program experience preferred)Familiarity with Public Codes related to construction programsBA / BS in Architecture, Engineering, Urban Planning, Construction Management, or related fieldEquivalent experience may substitute year for yearPreferred / Highly Desired :
Educational facility or public-sector construction experienceBIM experienceKnowledge of full project life cycle (planning → design → construction → closeout)Experience with LEED / CHPS sustainability projectsFamiliarity with DSA processesCredentials such as Licensed Architect , PE , or CCMWhy Join Greenridge?
