Architectural Specifications Writer

We are seeking a skilled Architectural Specifications Writer to join our dynamic team at ACI Boland.QUALIFICATIONS : Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.Proven experience (10+ years) working as an Architectural Specifications Writer in an architectural, engineering, or construction environment.Strong understanding of construction materials, building codes, and industry standards.Exceptional writing skills with a keen eye for detail and clarity.Proficiency in specification writing software / tools (e.g., MasterSpec, SpecLink, NBS Chorus).Excellent organizational and time management abilities to meet project deadlines.Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with diverse project teams.Knowledge of sustainable design practices and LEED accreditation is a plus. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES : Collaborate with architects, designers, engineers, and project managers to gather information and technical details related to construction projects.Translate complex technical information into clear, concise, and comprehensive architectural specifications.Ensure that all specifications adhere to industry standards, local codes, and regulations.Research and select appropriate materials, products, and systems for inclusion in project specifications.Review and edit specifications to guarantee accuracy, consistency, and adherence to project requirements.Coordinate with internal teams to ensure that specifications align with design intent and project goals.Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to architectural specifications.Attend project meetings and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to address specification-related queries.
