Berman Subaru of Chicago is looking to add an experienced Service Advisor to add to the team!

Location : Chicago IL (60641)

Job Title :   Service Advisor

Schedule : Full Time; Monday-Saturday

Pay : Earn $100000 a year! (Commission position)

Job Responsibilities

  • Greet customers promptly and courteously upon arrival at the service drive
  • Obtain customer and vehicle information
  • Listen attentively to customers concerns and accurately document their vehicle service needs
  • Determine and recommend necessary maintenance based on age mileage and history of the vehicle.
  • Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts.
  • Keep customers informed of the status of their vehicle repairs and address any questions or concerns they may have
  • Comfortably and clearly explain all completed work and charges to the customer
  • Coordinate service appointments and ensure timely completion of service orders
  • Collaborate closely with service technicians parts department and other dealership personnel to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction

    • Qualifications :

  • At least 1 year of Service Advisor experience within a dealership
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to accurately document service requests and recommendations
  • Proficient computer skills and familiarity with automotive service software systems
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures is a plus
  • Clean driving record and valid drivers license (3 yr min)
  • Must be willing to submit a background screening
