The Advanced Illness Doula Program Coordinator is responsible for developing implementing and managing a comprehensive program that provides holistic non-medical support to individuals living with serious or life-limiting illness as well as to their families. This role works collaboratively with medical palliative hospice and community partners to support dignity informed choice and emotional well-being throughout the illness journey.
The ideal candidate is grounded emotionally attuned and comfortable supporting clients and families through complexity uncertainty and transition. This position requires strong organizational skills compassionate leadership and the ability to hold space with sensitivity and professionalism.
Summary : The Advanced Illness Doula Program Coordinator is responsible for developing implementing and managing a comprehensive program that provides emotional spiritual and practical support to individuals and families during the end-of-life journey. This role ensures high-quality services recruits and trains volunteer doulas and collaborates with healthcare providers palliative care and hospice teams and community organizations to enhance compassionate care.
