Shift : Hours can range from Monday-Friday, 7am-5 : 30pm, with some Saturday work, with some variations per business demands

About the Role :

The Heavy Equipment Operator will safely operate heavy equipment, such as loaders and trucks, to manufacture compost and other soil amendments.

Responsibilities :

• Safely operate heavy equipment to load customers and assist with backyard when needed.
• Load products in customer trucks and trailers
• Complete and upload daily production reports
• Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
• Follow all safety policies and report hazards right away
• Work closely with drivers, operators, and team members
• Take part in training to grow skills and improve performance
• Handle other duties as needed to support daily operations

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements :

Normal work environment is outdoors, with exposure to all weather conditions, dirt, high levels of noise, smells / odors and at times exposure to dangerous and / or toxic substances requiring necessary precautions, including PPE.
