As a Screener with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting x-ray screenings and routine patrols. Your presence and attention to detail will contribute to a secure environment for staff and visitors. What You'll Do :

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate. Screen individuals, packages, and / or materials entering or leaving the logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain site protocols. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related risks and identify unusual activity. Document observations and report any security-related incidents or suspicious behavior according to Allied Universal and client protocols. Collaborate with site personnel and other Allied Universal team members to support a secure environment within the logistics and distribution setting.

Minimum Requirements :

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. X-ray screening experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
