The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care and clinical coordination within our behavioral health units, delivering quality, compassionate care for child (ages 5-17), adult, geriatric and forensic patients. Chief Nursing Officer

Graduate of an accredited Nursing program (ADN) Required , BSN Preferred.

Current unencumbered RN license in the state of Massachusetts (or compact state as applicable) Required .

CPI or Handle With Care - Preferred .

~ Graduate of an accredited nursing program - Required.

~Behavioral Health or Psychiatric experience - Preferred.

~ Team-oriented with a passion for patient-centered care.

~ Understanding of Trauma -informed care (Preferred).

Nurses at Valley Springs are active participants and key collaborators on the patient team in a patient's behavioral health journey.

~ Provide direct nursing care according to established standards and procedures.

~ Assess patient conditions, develop individualized care plans, and document progress.

~ Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other clinicians to coordinate care.

~ Support psychiatric emergencies and crisis interventions.

~ Engage in professional development and performance improvement initiatives.

~ Communicate effectively and professionally with patients' families' legal guardians and regulatory bodies.

Our Behavioral Health Department is a 150-bed inpatient facility designed to foster healing, safety, and innovation.

With a 1 : 6-1 : 8 nurse-to-patient ratio , our nurses provide specialized, compassionate care across children, adults, geriatrics, and forensic units.
