Job Title : Procurement Manager (Sourcing & Commercial Manager – IC VMI SCM)

Position Summary
The Sourcing & Commercial Manager (IC VMI SCM) is responsible for managing IC supply, inventory control, and vendor-managed inventory (VMI) / consignment processes for Solidigm's Supply Chain & Procurement (SC&P) organization. This role oversees supplier performance, negotiations, commercial terms, contracts, and the development of long-term supply strategies. The manager collaborates cross-functionally to support SSD builds, ensure supply continuity, optimize costs, and enhance supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain & Inventory Management
- Manage IC supply and inventory flow under VMI / consignment models.
- Coordinate with MPM, PMT, and ODM Supply Chain teams to resolve supply-related issues affecting SSD builds.
- Oversee weekly / daily forecast coordination and supply planning.
- Conduct price and supplier allocation adjustments based on performance.
- Lead strategic planning efforts, including long-term capacity and pricing models.
Supplier Management & Negotiation
Enable and implement VMI with existing and new suppliers.Drive supplier proposals, quotations, and RFQs.Resolve commercial queries and formalize business awards.Negotiate contracts, pricing, allocation, and business terms to support operational and financial goals.Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure consistent performance and supply stability.Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with engineering, supply chain, finance, and manufacturing teams on value engineering and cost-reduction initiatives.Support internal stakeholders to ensure operations meet business requirements.Commercial Strategy & Risk Management
Conduct market and supplier analyses to identify risks, opportunities, and industry trends.Develop and execute Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and mitigation strategies.Ensure all purchasing and supplier-management activities comply with company policies, ethical guidelines, and legal requirements.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Sourcing, Business, or related field.10+ years of proven experience in commercial sourcing, vendor management, or supply chain procurement.Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
