What’s the role?
The Shipping Coordinator works diligently on international shipments, dealing with both internal (Production, Service, Sales, etc.) and external customers (Carriers, Freight Forwarders, Brokers, Consignees, etc.), while also fulfilling U.S. Foreign Trade Regulations (FTR) requirements.

What You’ll Do
• Assist cross functional teams in preparing and processing domestic and international shipments following the Global Trade Compliance (GTC) shipping procedures.
• Prepare basic export documentation and ensure all required information is complete and accurate.
• Communicate routing instructions to freight forwarders/brokers under guidance from senior team members.
• Work with freight forwarders to support export procedures and help resolve routine issues.
• Maintain shipment status updates and assist in tracking export holds as needed.
• Serve as a point of contact for basic logistics questions and help coordinate shipment schedules.
• Support the review of export filings, generate AES transmission records (EEI) and ensure documentation is compliant with applicable regulations.
• Organize and maintain required documentation in accordance with GTC recordkeeping requirements.
• Assist with compliance related tasks, including learning proper use of ITAR/EAR authorizations.
• Help track the status of Carnets, Temporary Import Bonds, and related documentation under supervision.
• Participate in shipment audits as required by GTC policy.
• Provide support for special projects and continuous improvement activities.
• Escalate problems or compliance questions to senior staff as needed.
What You’ll Need
Familiarity with air, ocean, and ground-based logistics
Strong communication skills in verbal and written English
Proven attention to detail with excellent analytical, problem solving, and personal organization skills
Ability to work in fast-paced environment and under pressure
Ability to be flexible with changing priorities to meet changing customer requirements
Exceptional customer service skills
Familiarity with Incoterms
Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce

Salary Range:
$62,800.00-$83,700.000
