Senior Corporate Counsel, Licensed Attorney

A company is looking for a Lead Commercial Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the drafting and negotiation of strategic commercial agreements, focusing on enterprise-level outbound agreements and supporting documents

Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive the commercial contract review and approval process

Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and legal professionals while developing contract templates and negotiation playbooks

Required Qualifications

BA / BS and Juris Doctor (JD) required; licensed to practice in at least one U.S. state

10+ years of experience in-house, at a law firm, or a combination of both, with a focus on complex outbound commercial agreements

Demonstrated knowledge of IP, data protection, and regulatory frameworks

Excellent legal and business judgment with the ability to assess material risks and find workable solutions

Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and build productive relationships across a global organization
