Job Description

We are recruiting on behalf of our client-a fast-growing company with annual revenues exceeding $1 billion / year -for a Tax Manager role based in the Greater Dallas area.

Reporting to the Senior Tax Manager , this position will oversee all aspects of U.S. corporate tax compliance for the company and its affiliated entities. This is a high-impact opportunity for a seasoned tax professional to join a dynamic, growth-oriented organization and make meaningful contributions to its continued success.

Salary : $125K-$145K DOE plus bonus. 100% onsite with flexibility for Hybrid.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Support U.S. tax matters through data gathering, research, and analysis to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax filing requirements.
  • Oversee sales, use, excise, and utility tax compliance, including preparation of returns and administration of exemption certification programs.
  • Assist in preparing business personal and real property tax returns, as well as federal, state, and local income / franchise tax filings.
  • Manage business and franchise licenses, including applications and renewals, and review tax depreciation schedules for fixed assets.
  • Stay current on tax laws and regulations, identify business impacts, and communicate relevant updates to management and stakeholders.
  • Support tax audits and assist with Form 5500 filings for 401(k) and medical plans, along with other government surveys and special projects.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Minimum 4 years of U.S. tax experience in financial reporting, compliance, audit, or planning; Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business; CPA or MST preferred.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office applications with the ability to manage and analyze financial data efficiently.
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks, meet tight deadlines, and operate independently with minimal supervision.
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized, with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality in deliverables.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information securely and maintain confidentiality; industry experience is a plus but not required.
