[job_card.job_description]Operate and manage both routine and emergency services on a variety of critical systems such as; switchgear, generators, UPS systems, power distribution equipment, chillers, cooling towers, computer room air handlers, building monitoring systems, etc. assist in the design and build out of new facilities. assist in projects to increase current facility efficiency. Responsible for asset and inventory management. Assist in recruiting efforts Deliver quality service and ensure all customer demands are met
Title : Data Center Technical Operations Engineer
PR : $20-26 / hr.
Duration : 6-month contract possible extension or conversion
Process : 1 round interview – typically over the phone or zoom
Daily Schedule :
Schedule is 4 days a week the options are below :
Front Half : Sun-Wed
Back Half : Wed-Sat
They will have both day and night shift open. Times are as followed :
Day Shift : 6am-6pm
Night Shift : 6pm-6am
MUST HAVES :
- Basic mechanical or electrical experience
- Electrical
- Powering up racks, checking voltages, making sure correct voltage before hooking them up
- Alternating or direct current
- Mechanical
- Pumps, valves, air conditioning systems
- 1+ year of critical operations experience
- Healthcare, Utilities, Oil Rigs, Chemical Plants
JOB DESCRIPTION :
The Data Center Technical Operations Engineer, Facility will be responsible for Data Center Engineering Operations within a Data Center including risk management and mitigation, corrective and preventative maintenance of critical infrastructure, vendor management, and metric reporting.
