Director, Ethics Integration

As the Director, Ethics Integration for our Ascension Texas Ministry, you will have the opportunity to direct the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and strategies for issues regarding bioethics and organizational ethics. This position is remote but will require an on-site presence for consultations and meetings.

Other responsibilities will include :

• Provide support to leadership teams to ensure a highly reliable Catholic ministry identity, consistent with The Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care Services.
• Provide strategic and operational leadership for clinical ethics programming with the ministry markets.
• Provide subject matter expertise relative to organizational ethics and church relations within the ministry markets.
• Provide and coordinate ethics consultations and chart interventions as needed.
• Assist with developing and providing ethics education resources and programs.
• Serve as a resource to leadership, committees, and teams requiring ethics representation.
