Apprentice Electrician
We're looking for an Apprentice Electrician to join our team. The Apprentice Electrician supports Journeyman Electricians by installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems, while also assisting with material handling, prefabrication, and warehouse tasks. The position requires ongoing training through weekly classes and in-house instruction, with adherence to safety policies and a willingness to work flexible hours.

Comply with all company safety policiesWork under the supervision of an assigned Journeymen electricianInstall wiring, equipment, and fixtures, based on the direction of a JourneymanRepair or replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures using hand tools and power toolsAssemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures using hand tools and power toolsPerform warehouse duties and material handling as neededPerform pre-fab duties both on and off-site as neededLearn to follow blueprints to determine the location of wiring and equipment and to ensure conformance to building and safety codesAttend schooling 1 night a week and maintain passing gradesAttend in-house trainingAvailable to work overtime and / or irregular business hours as requestedPerforms other duties assignedKey Qualifications :
Able to work effectively in a team environmentAttentive to safetyEffective oral communication and interpersonal skillsIndependent worker with a strong work ethic.The physical activity for this role includes :Standing, walking, and sitting for long periods
Walking on uneven groundManual dexterity for use of small hand and power toolsRepetitive motions like squatting, bending, kneeling, reaching and liftingFrequently lifting up to 50 lbs., occasionally lifting up to 80lbs.Work safely from heights of up to 50 feetOccasional work in constricted spacesGood vision (either normal or corrected) and good balanceWorking outside in a range of weather conditions, including hot and cold weatherPass pre-employment drug screen and background checkThis role is accepting applications until filled
