AIX Developer

A company is looking for a part-time contract AIX Developer to support key federal IT clients.

Key Responsibilities :

Design and implement scripts, utilities, and applications on AIX platforms

Administer AIX systems, including installation, patching, performance tuning, and monitoring

Create and maintain automation scripts to reduce manual tasks

Required Qualifications :

3+ years of hands-on AIX system administration or development experience (AIX 7.x)

Proficiency in shell scripting (Korn / Bash) and at least one additional scripting language

Strong knowledge of AIX internals, including LVM, JFS2, networking, and system processes

U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance
